I can't believe it!  It's the last day for our Modern Prairie Sewing blog hop!  It's been so exciting and fun to have so many of my crafty & creative friends participate. I almost wish I could've made it last forever! Silly, I know. But this has been too awesome!

Our last-but-certainly-not-least blog hop buddy is Abiah. Oh.my. Will you just look at that? So adorable, fun, inspiring, sweet, bright, precious, cute, hilarious, supportive, gorgeous.... Oh duh. I'm supposed to be talking about the belt! Oops! Sorry. That would be describing my little sis. I am so proud of this girl. When I asked her to be a part of this blog hop, she said, "sure!", then asked me what I wanted her to make. I told her what I almost always tell her, "whatever you want". She decided to make the It's a Cinch belt. And she did it by herself in record time! I've never seen her finish a project so quickly. I love the way she styled it too. See how versital the It's a Cinch belt is? Look at the way April styled her belt and then the way Abiah's wearing her's here!  SO FUN!!!!! Love it! Love you too, Buggsie!

Day 7 is here for our Modern Prairie Sewing blog hop!

April is so sweet. She walks into our booth at Quilt Market and we girls all have to get our April hugs (and annual-all-A's picture together too). She's a creative and fun person; I love to see what she'll make next! The adorable April Rhodes made a fabulous It's a Cinch belt from Modern Prairie Sewing. She used LEATHER!!!!  How fun and funky is that?  I love that idea and want to put it into play the next time I make this belt. Seriously. That is just too awesome! When my sisters and I met Caroline at International Quilt Market, I was immediately smitten with her. She's so cute, fun and friendly! Yay!  A fun success story that I had to share with all of you!  My cousin, Faith, is a very talented and crafty girl (you see - besides being bonded by blood, we're bonded in the creative gene too!). When she snapped a picture of these Betty pouches that she had made from Modern Prairie Sewing for her college roomies, I had to show them off! How cute are they??!

Sunlight on Vacation {Guest Post by Abiah}

These girls are two of my best friends. Plus, they're my sisters!! Aaack! I have GORGEOUS sisters. Abi and Achaia were sweet enough to model for me while I tryed out one of my camera lenses. I am SO happy with how the pictures turned out. I was blessed enough to be able to convey their adorable personalities in pictures. I was so thrilled and excited when Stephanie at The Modern Sewciety contacted me and asked me if I'd be interested in an interview on her podcast!  Of course I said YES! 

Stephanie is such a sweetheart and it was so fun to get to chat with her for over 45 minutes about everything from our designer heros to my crafting & sewing family.

It's real out, folks!

                                         These are my best friends!  Meet Faith, Jane & Becky!

Modern Prairie Sewing is OUT!  It's shipping now all over and I'm SO excited, SO happy, and SO humbled!!!! Now comes the fun part; getting days set for book signings and trunk shows. (Both of which, I'll do happily! Btw)

These pretty girls are, (aside from my sisters) my longest best friends. They were right there when I wanted to talk about 'the book'. Happy to test anything that needed to be tested. And were the most divine models for my book that any girls could possibly be! When they sent me these pictures after they got their own copy of Modern Prairie Sewing in the mail, I smiled. I smiled big. And then I smiled bigger. Such friends.

I love you, Faith, Jane & Becky!!!!!
You girls are the best. Ever.

I told you I'd share more pictures!!!  I'm so happy you love pictures like I do.

We're back from our vacation and had a wonderful time!  I'll probably be caught pretty soon posting pictures that we took while we were up and away. Abiah did a mini photo shoot with Achaia and I in Nan and Paps' backyard. I'll ask her to post her favorites on here!
